Summary/Abstract: Network of schools existed in 18th century in Kaunas deanery is presented in the article on the basis of visitation of Kaunas deanery by the order of 1782 by the bishop Ignotas Jokubas Masalskis. Functional and state aspects of Parochial schools are revealed through their physical and material situation, contingent of the learners, competence of educational process performers (teachers) and it was highlighted, how in 1774 execution and (or) non-performance of statutes of Parochial schools reflected in Parochial schools of Kaunas deanery.
