Summary/Abstract: The present paper tracks Vintila Horia's trail the documents of the Security based on a very recent bibliography. It starts from the moment the writer was assigned a press mission in Vienna to the fall of the communist regime in Romania. Among the documents we have examined are those contained in CRIMINAL FILE No. 40,018, Volume 8, Confidential, SECRET, the documentary fund on Caftangioglu Vintilă Horia, file no. 11707, available upon Marilena Rotaru’s request, in April 1998, by the Romanian Intelligence Service. This was made public later on in Marilena Rotaru's book referred to in the bibliography.
