Summary/Abstract: A fragment from a novel in progress by the two authors, a confession on one of the worst Second World War and post-war experiences lived by the German minority of Romania – the forced labour camps in Russia. Oskar Pastior was one of the German citizens whom the Soviet authorities ordered to be deported in the coal mining regions of Ukraine.
