Summary/Abstract: The reducing of the lesbian sexuality to two categories only - romantic friendship and butch-femme roles - essentialy narrowed the conceptual potential if the lesbian sexuality. Both categories leave very little room for women that behave in a different way, or belon to both groups at the same time, or to none of them. How could we define a married woman that fell in love with other woman? Or a lesbian who fell in love with a man?
