Summary/Abstract: The article investigates the presence of issues, contents and attitudes related to the business operation of foreign entrepreneurs in Croatia, as well as forms of their presentation in five selected and specialized publications (Banka, Globus, Poslovni tjednik, Privredni vjesnik and Večernji list). According to the basic findings it can be said that the selected publications mainly cover the issue in a professional way. However, there are some faults like the relative shortage of analytical contributions and special research, over presence of photographs of individuals and absence of analytical graphic contributions, and to some extent the discourse, which is often popular while specialized and professional discourse is underrated. According to the perceptions of foreign entrepreneurs the possibilities for business in Croatia are good or satisfactory, but the overall level of entrepreneurial culture is relatively low. Beside the difficult conditions in the judicial system and disfunctional administration, the inadequate structure of socio-cultural capital (characterized by the lack of trained and educated work force, low competitiveness of Croatian labor market, lack of managers, absence of motivation for work and over presence of political sphere in economy) is seen as a basic obstacle for further development and full access to European integration processes.
