Summary/Abstract: This text on the level of expertise considers the problem of collecting, storing and utilization of solid waste in Serbia. In this respect the role of Roma and its national minority is a paramount and indespensable one. The author even claims that individual collectors of waste represent a model and a chance for economic development of Roma in Serbia.
