Summary/Abstract: Typical spatial socio-economic analyses are applying vector data related to polygons of administrative units.Raster data are, however, make it possible to overcome on modifiable areal unit problem of spatial administrativedivisions, since the biased image of maps with large or small polygons are replaced by equal size grids. These raster-like spatial units are although managed in vector environment, but it is also possible to performtraditional techniques of raster-analytics on them. This paper introduces some possibilities to apply raster methodologieson such social grid data.
