Lower Silesian-Czech cross-border co-operation of regional self-government

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the problem of cross-border co-operation, which has been continued for several years between Lower Silesian and Czech regional self-governments. The discussed co-operation takes various forms and its scope covers numerous, commonly experienced social, economic, spatial or environmental problems. It is a multifaceted and multidisciplinary co-operation, financially supported primarily by the programmes covering the European territorial co-operation. It results in bilateral, measurable advantages resulting from the joined implementation of numerous projects, undertaking many common initiatives and the exchange of experiences.
