Summary/Abstract: The subject of this opinion is a Draft Protocol on the concerns of the Irish people on the Lisbon Treaty in the version dated 20 July 2011 (Doc. No. 15848/11). Three articles of the proposed protocol deal with selected problems of relationship between Ireland and the European Union, but its main provisions also apply to all other Member States. The author claims that the Protocol does not contain a new “normative content”, therefore its entry into force would not cause significant social and financial consequences, because. He concludes that the adoption of the Protocol deserves support of the Republic of Poland.
