Folklore Projections of the Motive about the Last Tsar – Tsar Konstantin and Tsar Ivan Shishman

Summary/Abstract: The theme about The Last Tsar and The Last Time attracts many authors who search different approaches to it and different keys to its understanding. Todor Ivanov Zhivkov had also worked on this theme – mainly in connection with the tragic destiny of Tsar Ivan Shishman in its folklore interpretation. This article is one step more to the understanding of the general folklore and non-folklore text about The Last Tsar of the Bulgarians in its historical concreteness and folklore „rewriting”.
