Summary/Abstract: The author discusses the articulatory features of the Bashkir specific phonemes /ҫ/ (/θ/) and /ҙ/ (/ð/) analyzed by innovative experimental methods. The dialectal data concerning these phonemes and their positional allophones are also considered in the article.
