Summary/Abstract: Hersz Wasser (1910–1980), born in Suwałki, an economist and activist of Poale Zion – Left was one of the closest associated of Emanuel Ringelblum in the work of creating the Underground Warsaw Ghetto Archives. The letter referred to her concerns his activities following the liquidation of the Warsaw ghetto, notably his participation in the campaign pursued in 1943 and 1944 by Adolf Berman, member of the Presidium of the Jewish National Committee, to collect the recollections of Jews hiding on the “Aryan side” of Warsaw.
