Summary/Abstract: Thanks to his freedom, man is able to learn, and on the basis of knowledge, he is free to make decisions. Human life seems to be a dynamic process where everything is revealed. It is also obvious that man is responsible for his actions, but while he is still alive, he is always able to correct his wrongdoings. It is this dynamics of human life that prevented J. Maritain from limiting education only to school and youth, which received his special attention, as he understood it in the wider culture-forming sense.
