Summary/Abstract: We call ourselves a Christian society; we have many churches, even Christian schools. We have a certain religion that we consider better than other ones and in this light we think we are better or even more moralistic, but we have no evidence to support this. This study aims to show that among the studied sample (teenagers who find themselves in the same period of life when the identity, the values and the principles are being formed), the religious affiliation and attitude don't explain the differences in terms of availability to forgiveness and acceptance of others. In this way, we can dismantle the myths according to which one religion is better than another, or people belonging to a particular religion are more moral than others.
