Summary/Abstract: Petre Pandrea is the author of numerous works, part of them written in detention, in a unique style– one that was named, in time, “the pandrist style”. Beyond their rebellious feature and the persistent tone of revolt, they unveil the existence of a solid system of values, founded on vast reading and knowledge. His work, his original attitude towards freedom do not exclude his alignment to the great philosophical currents and his bordering the doctrine of some great theoreticians of the concept of „freedom”. His work infiltrates into the conscience of the Romanian society, moving it like the great spirits of literature and philosophy move the levels of the universal conscience.
