Summary/Abstract: This restitution represents the notes of the manuscript Out of the History of the Romanian Aesthetics that constitutes the fundament of the aesthetics lecture of professor Dumitru Isac, presented at „Babes-Bolyai” University of Cluj-Napoca, Faculty of History- Philosophy during the period 1965–1979. View that the text of the course itself no longer exists in the archives of the family, as it is considered lost, these notes can only give an approximate idea on the ”workshop” activity or on the ”preliminary works” of Dumitru Isac, in view of the subsequent drafting of the definitive ideas. At the same time, they have a special value, for they offer to the reader the intermediary stage of gestation of a speciality material, thus revealing the research process of the author who aimed at finding the best linguistic, interpretative or argumentative solution, at a certain point. Thus, one may assume the existence of several significant differences between these notes and the text itself of this lecture, identifiable from the moment the lecture shall be acknowledged and analysed. We consider that, despite the time lapse since its drafting, certain descriptions, appreciations and value assessments of professor Isac on the works of L. Blaga, N. Crainic, M. Ralea, C. Petrescu, T. Vianu, G. Călinescu and L. Rusu are still keeping their authority intact.
