Analysis and assessment of ecological policy instruments of RES in accordance with sustainable development principles

Summary/Abstract: The presented report concerns the economy of sustainable development and is a new concept of interpretation of sustainable development principles in the context of support of renewable energy sources (RES) development by Polish ecological policy. The aim of the article, presented in the first part, is the analysis and assessment of instruments of ecological policy applied in Poland relating to the promotion and use of RES. In the second part the definition of sustainable development is introduced. The division of instruments of ecological policy is presented in the third part. The fourth part concerns the instruments of ecological policy supporting RES development. The fifth part shows the instruments in the implementaion of sustainable development idea. The implementation of the instruments of ecological policy supporting the RES development has many advantages to sustainable development idea. It contributes to fulfilling its principles and make possible the market subjects to undertake the proeffective economic decisions relating to the protection of environment.
