Summary/Abstract: The authoress introduced chosen problems of utilization information in the realization of local sustainable development strategies. The authoress introduced the desirable features of information collection. She discussed the informative conditioning of local sustainable development strategies and introduced commune duties and their informative consequences. She also examined real cost and resources barriers of the utilization of information in the communes of Lower Silesia. Conclusions and recommendations are in the last part of the article.
