Educational Activities for Children in Turkish Museums

Summary/Abstract: Museum functions and visitors have changed rapidly with respect to social needs. Nowadays, museums are being identified as important informal learning environments for children. I made a research about educational studies, applied methods and techniques in different museums of Turkey. In my research I found that museums are excellent areas of education for children where they can participate actively with hands on experiences, have fun, get social and develop in a positive way.
