To be Educated on the Balkans

Summary/Abstract: The paper focuses on the problems of education in Bulgaria in a long period – from the Liberation (1878) to the World War II. The educational level depended on some political, economical and social conditions in modern Bulgarian society. The children`s literature is one of the most important operator about the development of the child education. On the other side publishing books dedicated especially to children is precondition and factor for the fast modernization of the Bulgarian society. The author analyses the social and economic conditions influencing the development and the distribution of children’s literature.
