Ważniejsze determinanty rozwoju eurologistyki w euroregionach
Significant determinants of the development of the Eurologistics in Euroregions

Summary/Abstract: Logistics, as a branch of science is one of the most dynamically developing branch. At the same time, in the days of European integration, an important role is played by cross-border areas. Undoubtedly, there is an interaction between these phenomena. The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between the development of Eurologistics and Euroregions, how to shape the logistics activities in the border areas and what changes should be implemented to achieve proportional development. The analysis was performed on crossborder areas, where I showed the characteristics of these Euroregions, due to its logistics policy or predisposition to conduct it. The analysis shows that the problem is the uneven development of Eurologistics and Euroregions. A barrier in most cases is the sphere of communication and infrastructure, and the shortage of funding for the expansion and modernization of the logistics centers. In other cases, the barrier is politics, mainly from the eastern border bias, limiting the opportunities for business to entrepreneurs. There is also included the conclusion that in the long term underdeveloped Eurologistics is not a barrier for the Euroregions and it should be treated as a challenge.
