The essence of the economic security of Poland from a perspective of regional and worldwide globalisation

Summary/Abstract: This paper focuses on selected aspects of country economic security in the open economy. In ongoing conditions of advancing liberalisation of markets as well as a worldwide trend for economic integration, the battle for dominance and security primarily takes place in the field of economics. Participation in the distibution of benefits from international division of labour depends mainly on the structural competitiveness of production and, consequently, on exports based on modern production factors. Economic security of the country in open economy should be perceived also in the context of innovative management of economic crisis, both globally as well as EU internally. In the face of aforemantioned issues a valid question of challenges, which lie ahead for Polish economic security in globalised world, needs to be adressed. An attempt to answer these questions is presented in the final part, following theoretical and empirical analysis of aforemantioned cases herein.
