Summary/Abstract: As part of St r awson’s descriptive metaphysics (1959 [1964]; 1992), we propose to explore the French lexicon (in synchrony) to clarify some aspects of our conceptual schemes concerning perception and sensation. Our goal is to identify the margins in which lexical semantics can provide a contribution to the philosophy of knowledge and perception. We will try to answer linguistically general theories of philosophy of perception.
