Summary/Abstract: The text presents the Yezidi community after the Russo-Ottoman War and the efforts of the Russian administration to regulate the situation of these people on the territory of today’s Armenia. The article is based on publications and research on the historical destiny of Yezidis in the South Caucasus as well as on documents kept in the National Archives of Armenia.
