Summary/Abstract: The object of research in the article is the temporal scope of the interpretive rulings of the Constitutional Court issued under Art. 149, paragraph 1, item 1 of the Constitution. The article presents an overview and analysis of the concepts defined in our legal doctrine of the temporal scope of the interpretive rulings of the Constitutional Court and the respective case law of the Constitutional Court. Major emphasis falls on the understanding that the meaning of some constitutional provisions can be enriched, modified in certain aspects as a result of changes in the social life, of creation of new constitutional provisions, abrogation, introduction of amendments or supplements to other constitutional provisions. The summary points out that the Constitutional Court’s interpretative rulings apply prospectively. It is noted that it would be appropriate for this understanding to be expressly incorporated in a positive law framework.
