COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF CYBER PRIVACY LAW IN INDIA AND IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

Summary/Abstract: In today’s cut-throat competition life, everybody is concerned about one’s own privacy. Due to the inculcation of technology in daily life, privacy factor is an increasinglyimportant issue of significant concern for the human being. This paper is an attempt to make a comparative analysis of the cyber law relating to the privacy issue and also to study the applicable law and steps taken by the two countries: one already developed (United States of America) and one of the fastest developing countries (India).
