Summary/Abstract: In this article, I will briefly describe the 19th century migration movements towards the Ottoman Empire just after the Russo-Ottoman War (known as 93 Harbi) and I will give some figures about the Bosnian migration. Later on, I will deal directly with Bosnian Muslim returnees who migrated to the Ottoman Empire after the occupation of Bosnia and Herzegovina by the Austro-Hungarian Empire in 1878 and their petitions for their returns.
