Summary/Abstract: The aim of the study is to present the problems of asymmetric information of the modern tourism market. The paper has a theoretical-conceptual character. Presented solutions have the model character. The article identifies the processes of information asymmetry with respect to the transaction area of tourism market. The result of the study is to present the scope of information asymmetry between participants representing the tourism market supply and demand in the transaction area. The study may provide a basis for empirical research in the analysis of information asymmetry on the tourist market in this regard.
