Summary/Abstract: The author examines the creative and public activity of the People’s Artist of the Russian Federation, academician and professor Andrei N. Bliok in China in 2005-2015. She comes to the conclusion of the interaction of Chinese traditional painting ideas and Russian academic school in the artist’s style of portrait and landscape painting.
