Summary/Abstract: The main objective of this paper is to identify the main factors, which are can be perceived as barriers to the implementation of new or improved products/technologies. This might affect on the regional industrial system and determine the boundary conditions to create a model structure of regional innovation network with the specificity of malopolskie voivodeship. The research was conducted in 2008-2010 on a group of 500 industrial companies in Malopolskie region.
