Summary/Abstract: The current paper investigates the concept of transcdisciplinarity from the perspective of an intercultural approach to foreign language teaching . It puts forward the proposition that the intercultural approach to language teaching shares common grounds with transdisciplinarity in terms of knowledge, attitude and view of the world.
