THE PERCEPTION OF GENDER IDENTITIES WITHIN CULTURAL PLURALISM

Summary/Abstract: Cultural pluralism is a concept that mainly represents the coexistence of various cultural groups over the same territory. The cultural identity is often very different front one to another group, and the interaction of these groups sometime has a systemic influence in both parties. This paper addresses concepts as cultural pluralism, multiculturalism and interculturality, relating to gender identity issues. The issues abovementioned are presented in a comparative way, by using a systemic approach.
