Citation Dialogue with the City in the Luko Paljetak’s Collection Pjesni na dubrovačku

Summary/Abstract: In this paper I will endeavor to discuss poetic intertextual-citation model as one of the dominant literary style in the postmodern period. Paljetak declared himself in his first collection Nečastivi iz Ruže (1968) as an »imitator« of playful humanistic Renaissance European culture. However, the poetry collection Pjesni na dubrovačku is a separate and almost an emblematic form of his own postmodern intertextual model of citation and ludism.
