Summary/Abstract: The aim of the paper is to analyze the solutions that are used within budgeting of EU projects. The research rely on 218 companies which have received grants from 16 Regional Operational Programmes. Mentioned solutions have financial as well as organizational and procedural character. The paper also indicates a problem with cost budgeting resulting from the application of the principle of competitiveness in EU projects.
