Summary/Abstract: The present research work is devoted to taxonomic analysis of spatial diversity in the socio-economic development level in Poland in the period from 2003 to 2009. The aim of this research was to submit diversity in the socio-economic development level in regions for evaluation on the basis of multidimensional analysis, which permitted to separate similar voivodeships' clusters and ranking according to socio-economic develop- ment level. The inspiration for carrying out the research was division problem of financial assets from European Union among the voivodeships. The analysis could be designed for more effective division of granted funds, because it captures more precise and deeper view of socio-economic reality of voivodeships.
