Summary/Abstract: Macedonian Turkish literature developed significantly also under the environment of peace and stability of the Ottoman reign in the Balkans which has lasted for a long time. After the withdrawal of the Ottoman rule from these lands, Turkish literature of the region lived an interregnum period during the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. The revival of the Macedonian Turkish literature in Macedonia took place only during and afterwards the establishment of the Socialist Yugoslavia in 1944, after World War II. During this period, a significant number of poets and writers that make up the contemporary Turkish literature in Macedonia, were raised. The theme of peace and brotherhood occupies an important place on the works of some of the most important names, poets and story writers, of the Macedonian Turkish literature such as Şükrü Ramo, Enver Tuzcu, Süreyya Yusuf, Lütfi Seyfullah, Necati Zekeriya, Fahri Kaya, İlhami Emin, Nusret Dişo Ülkü, Avni Engüllü, Fahri Ali, Suat Engüllü, Alaettin Tahir. Our aim here is to discuss how the themes of peace, brotherhood and friendship were analyzed at some poems and stories of these poets and writers.
