Summary/Abstract: As a result of the explosive growth of the Internet and of the broadband communications, it seems now that we have a democratic media system which offers a wide variety of independent sources of information and diminishes the media giants’ control over the published information. Twitter and Facebook are blurring the boundaries between physical and virtual realities.
