Summary/Abstract: The article attempts to answer the question on the possible impact of the family situation in which at least one of parents (mainly the mother) is the upper or middle level manager in the corporation on the socialization of the individual. Such family, provisionally defined as corporate family, is a specific manifestation of the influence of the metropolitan culture as well as an area of study in which one may observe transformations typical of the modern workplace. The pilot qualitative studies (narrative interviews), carried out by the author, may lead to the assumption that this type of group has a significant impact on the formation of a new man, the man of “a new capitalist”.
