New communication channels in medical services – selected issues

Summary/Abstract: The paper is an attempt to show new channels of communication in medical services as a response to the society’s needs regarding the continuous improvement of the health care quality. There are presented the study results from selected European countries, focusing on Poland, exploring the attitudes of society to the implementation new ICT solutions in medical services. With real involvement of Polish government and the EU supporting the ICT development in health care sector and willingness of Polish society for changes, it is possible to reach in Poland a well-working health care computerization systems along with the access to all conveniences received by adaptation of information and communication technologies
