Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the paper is to present the information flow in the process of product innovation and management of new assortment and technology of control of these streams in companies introducing new products to offer and into the market. Studies carried out so far reveal a positive relationship between the degree of use of the information derived from market research (marketing information obtained from MDSS/MES) and various measures of new product success20. Information technologies discussed above should generate eight key types of information required in supporting decision-making process of new product development: the strategic, financial and program management - new product design (internal sources), technical, customer and his needs (internal and external sources), and competition and regulations (external source).
