Summary/Abstract: Every service organization intending to stay in the market must pay attention to its partnership capital (partnership assets) and particularly to its customer assets. The present paper contains reflections on the values of a service organization’s process of building, sustaining and enriching relations with its customers perceived from the cognitive perspective – gathering, disseminating and implementing knowledge of its customers and the environment in which they operate. Of particular importance is the issue of environment and its protection in the broader meaning of this term as well as the ability of combining environmental protection with high economic efficiency. The paper is of theoretical character and utilizes secondary data enriched with author’s remarks and propositions of solutions.
