Summary/Abstract: The article presents the impact of institutional regulations on institutional infrastructure sectors, among others, on transport and electricity. The article describes the major regulations affecting the above mentioned markets, characterizes the regulators of the electricity and transport sector in Poland and the tools used. It shows directions of changes of both the power sector and transport from monopoly to retail and wholesale market.
