Summary/Abstract: Western society has for centuries emphasized (culturally proclaimed) “masculine” qualities, turning masculinity into a paradigm for all human beings. Inevitably, this strategy backfired and we were finally confronted with the downside of our masculine ideal. As a solution to the need for equilibrium, 20th century society began to explore culturally feminine traits that it had up to then profoundly contemned. This attitude made us socially explore “feminine” weaknesses before exploring the corresponding strengths and, at the same time, scientifically explore “feminine” qualities by investigating them in a masculinity rational manner and thus failing to acknowledge their intrinsic nature. We are now in a historically decisive moment when we can finally recognize past patterns and future tendencies: allowing women to express – not “explore” – their intrinsic feminine nature, which, due to its unifying potential, would in turn be able to reintegrate human nature, so long fragmented between two – perhaps – artificially opposed tendencies.
