Summary/Abstract: The prominent features of the synthesis of the Russian noble wedding ceremonialism at the beginning of the Peter’s epoch which were developing under the influence of the traditional domestic patriarchal rules of Moskovia and the public canons of Europe entered by Peter the Great are considered in the article. The importance of studying of everyday life’s gender as-pects revealing in the feelings and experiences of the noble class’ representatives is proved.
