Occupation value and preferences in labor conditions of preschoolers’ mothers in Moscow

Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the ‘work/life balance’ problem that women with children-preschoolers have to reconcile. The review of statistical data is presented. It shows that phenomenon of postponed motherhood is very popular in Moscow and shortage of preschooler municipal centers. The results of representative survey of 1250 women that have preschooler-age children are given in the second part of the article. The survey shows that the life style of working mothers in Moscow is deliberated. At the same time, labor conditions in companies are insufficient for working mothers
