The evolution of municipal police authority in Poland. Axiological context.

Summary/Abstract: Since the Act of the 8th of March 1990 on Local Government entered into force (currently: the Act on Commune Self-Government), the idea of the functioning of local government units in Poland has been restored. Although at first, it was only at the level of a commune, from the perspective of the vital interests of citizens - it was and still is the most important level. The reason for choosing that solution was the systemic solution used to ensure security for local society in addition to the activity of the police.
