Summary/Abstract: Polish excavations at Marea, a site 45 km southwest of Alexandria in Egypt, continued in the area of the large Christian basilica situated by the lake harbor of the town. The architecture on the lakeshore was cleared as part of a general topographic survey of the surroundings of the church. The biggest find of the season was a set of Greek ostraka, 264 in all, from AD 450–500, discovered by the southeastern corner of one of the buildings. The report includes a brief overview of the content of the ostraka, presumably related to the construction of the basilica, and a review of the pottery and glass finds.
