Summary/Abstract: The main objective of this paper is to present the impact of the internationalization on portfolio management. Literature and empirical studies were used as a research method. It is shown that nowadays the scope of the internationalization of the financial markets of individual countries is diverse and depends on many factors. In this publication, the top 10 private banks are presented in terms of entrusting the management of cash and all major stock exchanges in the world. In addition, the article shows that the internationalization of economies will affect the portfolio management process in a way that it will be focused on new challenges. They will be opportunities positively influencing the achieved rate of return and the acquisition of new clients.
