Summary/Abstract: The analysis of human capital spatial differentiation carried out using the Hellwig’s taxonomic method shows that only three voivodeships (Mazowieckie, Małopolskie, Pomorskie) are characterised by a high level of human capital. A much more numerous group is composed of voivodeships (Łódzkie, Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Zachodniopomorskie, Podkarpackie, Lubelskie, Opolskie, Lubuskie, Warmińsko-Mazurskie) having a low level of human capital. The Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, with the lowest level of human capital, is placed at the most disadvantageous position.
