Summary/Abstract: Corruption is affecting people and governments all over the world. Recently, fighting against corruption became a priority for all European countries and especially for Romania. In the last years, Romania has made important steps in fighting corruption and adopted new anti-corruption strategy. Anticorruption measures were analyzed in Romania and new efforts started with the new Fiscal Antifraud Directorate General established at the end of 2013. This new organism will collaborate with other control bodies in order to reduce corruption and to facilitate the economic development and the better quality of life. According to World Economic Forum (2015), access to financing became the most problematic factor of doing business in Romania.
